Is
a worm infection caused after eating raw fresh water fish
contaminated with worm larval.
Usually
in Thailand and Japan. After being eaten the larval migrate
outside the intestine.
In
the skin they cause itching but also can affect the lung (causing
coughing), bladder (causing blood in urine) and brain (causing
meningitis).
Blood
tests help but sometimes-surgical removal of the worms helps
identification. Treatment may require both medical and surgical.
