Is an Eastern European country that is not commonly visited by most North Americans. It lies between Romania and Ukraine.It is just opening up to tourism may not be straightforeward for package tourism so some research may be needed Moldova may be best known through Tony Hawk's (the writer not the skateboarder) book,Playing the Moldovas- an irreverent but insightful account of Moldova. Moldova is very poor but have very hard working and if you are able to stay long enough to meet the poeple you will appreciate their hospitality and genuineness.
