Aviation
Medicine
Edited
by Andrew Cummin and Anthony Nicholson
This very useful textbook has
separate chapters written by various experts in the Aviation Medicine.
Topics covered include in flight emergencies, fitness to fly, and
deep vein thrombosis. I found this book valuable in preparing an overview
for a talk on Aircflight medical problems. I would recommend this
book for primary care providers who advise people on flying as well
as those who fly frequently and may be called on to provide in flight
aid to a passenger in Distress.
