Desert Survival Handbook

This is a short manual on desert awareness and safety and I found this to useful and worth the price. It goes over the basics. It is published out of Phoenix so much of the information is geared towards desert conditions in the Southern US. I would not extrapolate its use for travelers to African or other desert conditions though. It still is a very valuable read for anyone even planning a car trip through desert conditions.
